Hey, does anyone here use a mini-vacuum to clean the inside of their case, power supply, keyboard and stuff like that. I want to know if they ae safe. I heard they can be dangerous. Can anyone recommend one to me?

I have a really cheap one and I use canned air. The vacuum just doesn't do it, but I use it to clean around the computer a bit.

I use caned air to blow the dust out all of those delicate parts and I use a vacume (small dirt devel) to get the dust out of the bottom of the case. The danger is swinging the hose all around the inside of the computer and knocking parts off your motherboard .

I use a shopvac with a plastic nozzle and a 1/2" paint brush to loosen the dust. Keep the shopvac at a distance from components and it just carries away the dust cloud created by the brush. I got distracted by the cat once and sucked the cpu off a P120 that wasn't properly locked down :)
