Please help!
I am running a qdi advance 9 motherboard celeron 500 voodoo3 graphics card 128bit sound card. I thought i'd check out my current system temp which is 28 degrees and cpu temp 76 degrees but i'm not sure what temp it all is suppose to be anyone know? I'm also looking at upgrading as well to a duron 1300 and elite k7s5a board what temp should i be looking for when i upgrade?

"current system temp which is 28 degrees and cpu temp 76 degrees"

I hope you are talking about Centigrade in the first and Farenheit in the second, cause one of them is way off otherwise. A temp of 100 F is ok generally, when it starts inching up from there, there is more cause for concern, but short periods of higher temps are ok. That is assuming we are not talking about 200 F or such.

My motherboard runs around 30c and my Athlon 1.333 is running at 42c It will get down to 36c when I blow the dust out of the hs. In the summer my CPU temp jumps up to 48c. A good running temp your new Duron would be from the low 40s to low 50s. 76c is way too high for my liking.
