I really hope you are joking there Whyzman, you could lose your geek credentials if you have never had to deal with a BSOD...:D :D

Don't feel bad WYZMN...I too was confused until I did a Google search.

Apparently, it originated in Hollywood. All people living in the area were forced to bring their own candy to the local screening rooms.
Strangely, all of these rooms were blue. If they didn't hand over the candy before the movie started? You guessed it. They ended up like those poor gentleman laying on the floor.

Oh my Jabar, that's really scary. But then again, that's Hollywood.

Budfred, I certainly don't want to jeopradize my Geek Credentials. Perhaps, as Jabar pointed out, they are found more in certain areas. I'd be willing to travel to get one.

I was following a thread a while back here on the GUIDE where one of the folks was trying to photograph a BSOD and was having great difficulty. I don't know that he ever was successful.

I checked eBay and no one has any for sale (although that might not really count). I did find one individual who apparently has more than their fair share and is marketing some sort of Therapy Device (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1782259220#DESC) to deal with the guilt.

I'm pretty excited about the prospect of getting my own BSOD. I beginning to see this as the "Holy Grail of Geekdom," the "Pot O' Gold" at the end of the Rainbow, the "Brass Ring".....

Definitely a "Twofor": Preserve my Geek Credentials, and hey, Processed Sugar can be a motivation in and of itself.

I had a dream last night after reading Yoda's post that I was an attorney trapped in a Cadbury factory and I had to eat my way out. Of course that was after I passed the Bar Exam.....

So, how do I get me one?
