This really isn't a troubleshooting question but I was wondering about the 8-bit and 16-bit I/O recovery time. In my BIOS settings they are set to 8 and 4 respectively. I know that in the pcguide it says the default is 1. Should they be set to 1, or will I really not notice any difference at all? Thanks

Welcome, Neil! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

You should always include some minimum info about your system:
CPU type and speed, # and kind of drives and expansion cards,
amount of RAM, Windows version, etc.

8/16-bit I/O refers to legacy devices, usually ISA expansion cards.
The default setting may be something specified by the mfr of your mobo.
If you highlight an option in BIOS setup and press F1, you may get a hint.
