I have a P4 2.4 GHZ on Gigabyte GA 81GX MB with 40 GB HDD seagate barracuda 7200 rpm and 256 MB DDR ram running windows 98 SE. I had copied some photos in about 10 floppies using the MS back up feature of windows 98 SE. But now after reformatting my hard disk when i tried to restore the photos back using Back up on inserting the 4th floppy it says that it is unable to read from the media and the restore function stops. The fdd is ok as it is able to read from other floppies. Is it possible to retrieve data from a damaged floppy. Or is there any other method to restore the photos from the undamaged floppies. Please help.
