When I start my computer, this message appears "COMPUTER WILL NOT BOOT UP (FROM HARD DISK)"; and the cursor moves to upper-left conner of monitor. What is wrong?, how can I do this problem?

Give the Computer brand, Operating System & age of computer and we can help. Right now, you can put a "system" or Win98 boot disk in it and go to "Fdisk" @ the A prompt......it should look like this: A:\fdisk c: .
If it doesnt find drive C.......you might have a "dead" hard drive.

Be careful with fdisk, if it does find a hard drive, the ONLY key you want to press is [Esc] to exit fdisk.
I think before finding out more info, the main suggestion I have is to boot to a start up disk and transfer the system files to the hard drive. At the A:\> prompt type:
sys_c:
using a space in place of the underscore ( _ ) used here. That should transfer the system files and if the drive is still usable it should then boot.

Check in BIOS see if system sees your drive.Hit del on startup.Check cables see if drive is connected.Listen if drive is spinning if not drive is bad.
