Where is the IT industry going?

I am wondering where do you think the next boom in the industry will be? or will we carry on into further recession... I have heard the inovation will lead us out of this bad recession, I cannot see how...
Anyone making big bucks in IT at the moment ;) ???

Im just trying to make a step in the right direction... Where are you headed???

Security.

Right now I'm doing a lot of work with Water districts. All water districts , as part "homeland security", must complete mandatory security assesments (both physical and cyber security) by the end of 2003. (bigger water districts must be finished sooner)

I've also done some work designing secure networks for some power plants that are going on line here in the Western states.
