View Full Version : Floppy and CD drive being accessed for no reason

When I try to delete any file or folder on my harddrive, I get the message "Please insert disk into drive E" which is my CDRW drive. At the same time the light comes on on my A drive which is my floppy drive and it sounds like the A drive is being accessed. When I click 'cancel' on the dialog box, the message returns and the A drive is accessed again. After the third time the file gets deleted. The same thing happens when I try to move a file on the harddrive.
If anyone could shed some light on this - or at least give me something to try, I would be most grateful.
Thanks! .......David

Use Tweakui to organise your drives .
If you tick all the boxes in the My Computor section of
TweakUi . You will gain an extra benefit also , in that you will
now have extra features , when you right click on Start . John .

Look in Windows Help under Documents Menu for how to clear the contents.
