Numeric key lock

When my laptop starts up, the numeric key lock on my keyboard is set on. How can I reconfigure the system to ensure that it is set off after booting ?? Running Windows ME.

This is controled in the Bios on desk tops.
check your bios for the Num-lock on/off
set it to off if it's listed there

Thanks Rick for pointing me back in this direction. When I last tackled this "problem", I thought that I HAD looked in the BIOS - I obviously hadn't !!! Thanks again !!:) :) :)
