I am trying to get a game to run in 640x480 mode. If memory serves me
correctly there is a way to make it to do this by creating a shortcut to the executable, and in the target command line, after typing the path name to the executable in quotations, you then add something like
height=640,width=480. Can anyone remember the exact syntax for this?
Actually it is game dependant.....some will work with it like this
c:\gamedir\game.exe 800,640
Others do it differently, post the name of the game and maybe someone will know how........

The name of the game is The Sims. And also I would like to do the same thing for Final Fantasy...

For The Sims, this (http://www.angelfire.com/games3/simnicole/tips.html) should work. Very useful, I might try changing my Sims resolution sometime...
For the Final Fantasy PC games, I found this (http://www.lordkane.gametribe.net/emulation/configs/ff89.htm). It's called Pete's OpenGL Video Plugin, sort of a graphics API overlay from my brief look at the site. If it works like the site says, you can configure all sorts of cool options that the game menu doesn't let you do. I don't know if this would work for you (emulators are always touchy), but worth a look.
I found both of these through Google searches, tho I admit that a little creativity was needed as to which key words I used.

Ooohhh....so close....I can almost see it properly except that it is in triplicate. Any ideas what that would be caused by? That is on the Sims game, using the -r1024x768....
