Video Camera advise

I was wondering if anyone has done research on a digital video cam recorder. I would like to get one to record home video, take snap shots and also be used as a webcam. Any advise?

Hi. This is something that has been on my list for longer than I've wanted it to be, it keeps getting bumped down in priority however. I've come down to 2 models for my price range and both have their goods and bads - the Creative PC-Cam 610 and it's competitor, Logitech Clicksmart 510. You can check them out here. I suspect you may be hearing from another fellow I chatted with some time ago who owns one of these models. I'd be interested in hearing from you after you have made your purchase as I'm not quite there yet.
