Error message

When on a web page, some links that I click on won,t open that page and gives me the message "error on page" at the bottom task bar. I am totally confused why sites open and then some links won,t open.

The error on the page is on the server.No matter haw many times you remove and reinstall the browser in which you saw the error, until or unless the error is fixed by the webmaster, it will still appear. Some pages were designed with a specific browser in mind so not knowing which browser you have???
But not sure if this is the problem /

I agree with Yoda, the error is likley to have been generated by the server hosting the website. Either the link or is invalid (i.e. missing) or maybe there is a problem the script being used on the page.

Not knowing what browser you are using, it is more difficult to give a more accurate answer.

Something I recently found when I installed IE6 on a computer, it kept giving similar error messages about errors on the page even though I was able to view it on another computer running a older version of IE. It turned out to be the security settings in IE6, I changed the settings accordingly and I was then able to view the page in question. This might not be the cause in this instance, but I thought it was worth mentioning anyway.

If you are still getting the errors, it would be helpful if you could provide details about your browser, error message details (i.e. number) and maybe even the details of an example website.
