Hi, I have been occasionally getting errors which close down an application I am running. It always says something about kernel.dll. I have win 98 2nd edition and want to find out what exactly these errors mean. I know I will get told to download some software ofr reg cleaner but I've tried them all and these errors still keep re-occuring, does some smart IT whiz know exactly what these error messages mean?

Here is one of them:
WMPLAYER caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 016f:bff9db61.

Daniel, while all of this is frustrating to you stretching everything out and posting everywhere, along with double posting is making it harder for all of us to track what exactly is wrong with your machine...

I am closing this thread and considering trying to corall all the others into some sort of order.

It may be a good idea to make a list of all that is wrong and tack it on to one of the existing posts.....
