Have amd Athalon 800, with Samsung Combo sm-304b DVD CD and a Philips cdd 3610 CD-R/RW both have been running fine, now when I try to accsess Samsung it reads as if both cd-roms are as one, tried to change drive letters but don't work also tried deleting both drives and rebooting end up with same problem, have not loaded any new software or hardwar, HEEEEEEEEELP!

Any other specs, error messages, more comlplete description of the problem would be helpful.

Need much more info:
• Windows version ?? -- 95/98/SE/ME ?
• How are master/slave jumper on each drive set?
• Which IDE channel is each drive connected to?
Don't quite understand "it reads as if both cd-roms are as one".
Do the Samsung and the Philips drive each show up in Device Manager?
