Urgent Help Needed

my dad lastnight made a password on windows xp home edition, this is the only user account on their, other than the default ADMINISTRATOR one that we cant get on because it is disabled, my dad has forgot his password, is there anyway we can get pass this or could someone please tell me how to reset the password. and i would not like to format the hard drive as he has loads of games and stuff he doesnt want to lose.
