Is there any way to increase the size of the taskbar icons in Win XP?

I think all you can do in xp is go to the display and make sure all Icons are being used as large also right click on tool bar choose large icons, and right click start button and choose large icons thats the only way i know to change them unless someone knows a reg hack??

You can modify the icon in the Display properties > Appearance Tab > Advance. In the item field drop down list make your selection for icon and then you can change the size. Note: the font size will determine how big or small you can go.

I'm sorry, I misunderstood the question. You specified the task bar. What I suggested will not effect the task bar.

In WinME you can R-Click on an individual toolbar on the taskbar and from the View Menu choose Large or Small. Don't know about XP, but could be worth a try.
On re-reading, that was one of Yoda's suggestions; sorry.
