I'm having trouble running 'Medal Of Honor, Allied Assault' which might be due to DirectX. My DirectX says 'AGP Texture Acceleration' is not available. It was available originally but something has changed it. I do not know how to turn it back on. I found an old thread which suggested I run Netmeeting then disable and re-enable it through that. I am running ME and cannot access Netmeeting as described. I get either 'Dial Up Networking' (goes into 'Make New Connection' or 'NTLWorld') or 'Home Networking Wizard'(tells me I've got no networkd device). Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Hmmm... more info about your system would be helpful, but try running the DX Diagnostics. Go to Start -> Run -> type in "dxdiag". A window will pop-up (as if we haven't gotten used to that!). Click the Display tab, down by DirectX Features there should be AGP Texture Acceleration listed, with a button to enable/disable it. My thought is that this button should say enable if your texture acceleration is currently off.
I wonder what could have turned it off?...

Two more things you can try.
When you enter dxdiag and the acceleration is already enabled, try disabling it and then re-enabling it. (Thanks to Yoda for this tip from a while back ;) )
Also, you could enter Display Properties and hit Settings>Advanced>Performance and see if your hardware acceleration slider has somehow been moved to the left and move it back to the right.

Have you checked the status of your Display Driver lately? DirectX will only augment those options that it identifies as being available through your Display Driver. If per-chance you have installed something that may have messed with your Display Driver's files you could be running on corrupted Driver Files which DirectX WON'T tell you about but WILL make any changes to it's controls in responce.
If your feeling REALLY ambitious and are bored try uninstalling and re-installing your display drivers anyway... and while you're at it cruise on over to the web-site for your graphix card manufacturer and check out their downloads page for NEW DRIVERS.
One thing IS for SURE the problem resides with your Driver Files for your display or with DirectX itself... especially if it was working fine and with all options OK previously.:)
Oh yeah, ummm uhhh I hate to tell ya this but I have many a story of people that have had troubles getting MOH to run and/or run without any serious problems... :(
Anybody else here have problems with MOH and Grafix issues?

Also try setting the pixel size
ex.
800,640

Setting the resolution to the "gaming standard" of 800 X 600 is a -- Killer -- idea there. More than once I have found that some newer games won't start up the very first time unless set to HIGH(16 bit) Color at 800 X 600. Fer instance Ghost Recon does that for my system on a new install, every... single... time..! After the first start-up of the game though I can switch to another resolution all I want with no problems!
But, in this instance though, and correct me if I am wrong, the original post said that nessesary components of the DirectX utility were not there or accessable when they had been there before. That smells of a Driver problem or a DirectX reconfiguration(more likely the former cause than the latter one).
But, if you can get your normal fully active DirectX back and are going to try to start-up the game in question again, do readjust the graphics rez to the "gaming industry standard" of 16-bit 800 X 600.
Then with fingers (and any other appendages capable of doing so) crossed, hit that icon to start that sucker up!!! :D
