I have 6 pc , 1 is IBM and other is assembled in that five one is P3 and other is AMD K6-450 ,
i AMD's HDD attasch to IBM compter and install IBM Recovery disk in that HDD Ibm (IBMcabinate is ATX and other is AT) after installation i attch that HDD to AMD and start computer , the machine is good runing in win98 se. edition , but one is problem when i shut down my computer in start menu after clicking the masseage show windows is shuting down after this masseage i see blank screen and computer is restart with beep.

A couple things you might try. Within the control panel, Double Click on the Power Management Icon and disable all the power saving attributes. And, within the BIOS, set the power management to disable instead of say user defined. This should cure it. Hope this helps.

Hi Everyone! Win 98SE has a know bug with shutting down! You might try Microsoft's website and look for article Q239887 Sorry but I don't know how to add the link. Hope this helps!
