no screen

Installed new motherboard.Computer starts but screen is blank.CPU fan is running.Memory is installed.OS not installed,so are HD,FD and cd-rom.Mouse and keyboard are installed.Keyboard lights flip once then turn off.hat's wrong?

Best to try the system barebones....Monitor, keyboard, RAM, Video and see if you can make it through POST...add floppy and continue adding components until you hit a snag...

Also, note if you get a POST beep or not. If you don't even get a beep, the problem is probably with the CPU or motherboard.

If you do not get any beeps, the processor could have gone bad. A bad display would be indicated by a long and short beep. Ensure that the speaker plugs are properly connected.
