View Full Version : RatFinks and Microsoft Or Who's next
I found this link on another site (Battle Front)
I have to wonder who is going to be knocking on my door Next.
I don't just order every system with NO O/S I also tell them to check the drives BUT leave them Blank so I don't have to undo their Fdisk.

you know, it's getting to the point where MS thinks they control the world! I'd like to see them come to my door and " demand " i show then a liscense! How do they know that maybe when i order a virgin system i'm not planning on putting BeOS or some other type of OS on them?! Maybe i'm building a totally new and unigue OS myself! or heck, maybe i just want the new pc as a doorstop?! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/tongue.gif It's practices like these that eventually destoy a company; they are sooooo putting their " foot in to mouth " and are gonna wind up getting slammed in the future market place. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif

Here's an idea for Micro$oft. If the money flow is slowing, they could crank out Windows ME Second Edition. Just re-package ME and call it an upgrade. Should bring in a few extra bucks until XP comes out. Wouldn't that be cheaper and easier than hiring all of those people for their "software police force"?
Of course M$ will drop support for MESE, ME and 98 as soon as they can after XP hits the shelves.
