After a malfuntion in a sound card my computer has not been funtioning correctly. Its is a P51430VX/250DM Explorer II with a Pentium 133 processor. When I turn on the computer a constant beeping occurs throughout the memory test until it the error occurs. The error is in the keyboard. When I turn on the computer the keybaord LEDs blink but when the memory check is over the "keyboard error or no keyboard present" message appears... After that a "CMOS battery failed" and "CMOS defaults set" appear... I can't continue to setup the CMOS because the keyboard doesn't work. There isn't much to try since there are very few jumpers on the machine... Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Steve

Have you tried a different keyboard? It wouldn't answer all of the errors you have but I'd try it before getting into more complicated troubleshooting. What did you do about the Soundcard problem?
