Install, Uninstall?

Hi, I was loading a pc game(Empire Earth) when it stop loading and my system froze. I had to reboot and when I did I discovered that the game had partly loaded but not fully. I tried to unistall and it goes through the motions, but it is still there. When I try to install it goes through the motion but it installs no further. I am running windows ME and I play it on my other pc with the same OS. So I know it should load ok. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You could try using a file uninstaller that claims to clean things out completely to see if you can get it all out and then reinstall. Here is a link to a PCWorld download site with a bunch of those programs:

I downloaded ADD\REMOVE PLUS 2002. It went very smooth.

You can also try:
My Computer>>Control Panel>>add/remove programs

I'm not sure if this will work on half-loaded games though.
