Does anyone know where there is a good guide to MS Query and ODBC - I am trying to create a Excel spreadsheet that pulls data from a Access db, and use advanced queries.

Thanks,

Olie

Are you wanting to use ODBC just to learn it or do you just want to pull the data.

If just the latter, I personally would create the query/queries in Access and then from the Data Menu in Excel "Import External Data" from the relevant queries in Access. You can use the same import of data and use/edit MSQuery from within Excel without using any specific ODBC, but I think it is easier to create complex queries within Access.

Most of the relevant information can be got from help files or from searching MSDN. If you have any of the visual studio cd's they generally come with an MSDN library, which is a very useful and rapidly accessible source of all sorts of information.
