@ $40 thats not bad, but I use
A PCI Bus Analyzer (http://www.ioss.com.tw/web/English/RD2PCGeiger.html) which is displyed in a front bay
Bus clock frequency in x1, x2, x3 and x4 modes
Bus utilization in percentage
Bus data amount transferred in MB/sec or KB/sec
Port 80H, BIOS self-diagnostic information (POST Codes)
it also has 2 USB ports and a firewire port (but you need to have that onboard or buy a seperate card as they are just ports) about $85
Same folke make a redundant BIOS adapter
RD1 BIOS Savior (http://www.ioss.com.tw/web/English/RD1BIOSSavior.html)
ICE
I think removing and installing that unit may be a bit of a pain to use as a service tool ( trouble shooting tools)
It is a nice unit however

Ive got one, actually it is powered from the PCI, its basicly a large voltmeter, as an "out of box" tool, youd want to put it in an enclosure as the backside of the display half is exposed circut boards, the 2nd part is a simple PCI Card and flat cable
Split and moved to here....
It is better to start a new thread and refer back to an old one, if it is more than about a month out of date....this was at least 5.
