Hello,
I wonder if anyone has seen this before.I have a PC running windows Millenium,20Gb hard disk space,256mb Ram,Pentium 111 733mhz CPU.The system is very quick, apart from one thing. When you deal a hand of cards within the Spider Solitaire game, the cards deal out painfully slowly. This is the only time at which the machine runs slowly. The rest of the time the machine is super fast.
Has anyone any idea's please?
Thanks very much,
Ray

I've seen this happen on fast systems before while it doesn't on slower systems...

Does it seem like it spits the cards out a few at a time (it sounds that way because of the sound effects) ?

I think it may be a sound card issue, but that's a SWAG...it could be that the system is TOO fast and the sound effects can't keep up with how quickly it tries to deal...

I don't think it's anything wrong with your system, although I'm sure someone will blame Windows ME...I've seen this under Windows 2000 and Windows 98, so don't think that's it...
