My computer started experiencing issues last week. After startup, it automatically reboots or turns off. I was told that the power supply may no longer have sufficient power so I replaced it with a larger one and the computer still shuts down after startup. What could possibly be the problem? Thank you for your time.

Hi josh,
A little background info would be helpful. What kind of computer is it? What operating system are you using? Which processor? How much ram? Maybe even what motherboard.
Sometimes a problem like this is due to heat. Take the cover off the computer and see if it is clogged with dust. If it is, clean it out with compressed air.
If everything looks clean try starting it up. Do all the fans spin up?
If they do, are you making it through POST? Do you hear any beeps?
I know, no answers, only questions. But it's a start...;)

I face this type of problem in p-3 with atx cabinate. In my case I found loose connection in conector of main suply (mobo suply) one pin of that connector become loose and made sparking due to this sparking psu's safety ckt, cut the suply. I think that this will help you to resolve your problem
