1. Turn system off.
2. Turn system on.
3. Tap F2 key when you see the DELL logo screen. You should be in Setup screen.
4. Page number info is located on upper left corner of the setup screen. Press ALT and P key at the same time to change the page to 4. Page 4, where you would have Power Management.
5. Change the Display Close on battery and AC to either Suspend or Active depending on your use. You may want to try suspend first, then if not, active.
6. Once changed, press ESC and save to exit. Now test your system.

Are you trying to respond to a thread or maybe ask a question??? Who are you addressing the BIOS assistance to?

Yep- Strange one. Just searched all of "todays active threads"...Nada

Maybe we're in the twilight zone? Sure feels like it tonight! :eek:

This thread will be moved...But to where only the shadow knows! :D

Don't have a Dell, but It's really cool how the decoder ring worked....

Zap!!! And all of the sudden this thread went from the suggestion box to Core Hardware.
How the heck did the shadow do that? :confused:
