IE 6 Question

Hi. I just recently upgraded to IE 6. A couple websites that the kids like to go have a lot of background flashes when moving the mouse over certain items on the web pages. I'm using Windows 98 and an optical mouse, but this didn't happen before IE 6.
The web sites are:

There are large squared areas and rectangles that seem to flash in the background. Is there some default setting in IE 6 that should be changed?

try updating flash and shockwave i have ie6 and did not have what you encountered. also go to windows update for all the ie6 up dates. this is for flash and shockwave= http://www.macromedia.com/downloads/ if this does not help someone will come along

Also, try repairing IE 6 with the IE repair tool in System Information/Tools.

If nothing works, the uninstall and reinstall IE.
