A REAL CHALLENGE!!!!!!!!!

guesty_uk@hotmail.com For the past couple of weeks my pc's monitor goes off and split seconds later comes back on but it has frozen along with every other input/ output device. This happens every time i switch my computer on but at an unspecific time. I've completely restored the system and the problem still has not been resolved.

any suggestions??????????

More info would be helpful, operating system, CPU, memory, motherboard, video card, etc.

Windows Me, 800Mhz-AMD, 128 SDRAM, O/B GRAPHICS CARD + O/B SOUND CARD, NOT SURE OF THE MOTHERBOARD?????????

O/B GRAPHICS CARD TAKES 16MB OF RAM
TRIED NUMEROUS THINGS LIKE DISABLING TSR'S FULLY RESTORED THE SYSTEM NONEE WORKED, ALTHOUGH SYSTEM IS FINE IN BOIS SCREEN. CANT THINK OF ANYMORE INFO TO SUBMIT UNLESS ASKED????

I assume that you used the WinMe restore feature to restore your computer?

Also had you installed any new hardware/software around the time the problem started?

What and how many items are running in the background?

Try opening the case and running a small fan blowing into it and see if that helps.
