how would i go about Reformating C: and reistalling XP it sounds pretty scary :( REFORMAT...
So alot of detail would help

Just remember to back up any files (patches drivers exectra...). Because the second you start to REFORMAT is the second you remembered that one hard to find file that you forgot to save.

Any reason why your formating?Windows is seperate from your programs and if you are having problems, in most situations you can just reinstall Windows without formating.Formating will wipe your hard drive clean.

The easyest way to back up all your drivers is to use Windrivers backup. This program can be downloaded here. (free)
