Maybe if the Athlon had been adopted in the X-Box, as everyone thought...

I'll add it to my To Do List. Along with eliminating world poverty & finding a way to prevent White Pointers attacking foreign visitors to our fine country. Tragic ah. Just married & on his honeymoon, left his wife on the beach & went out surfing, & never came back. Fortunately his wife didn't see it actually happen. But she was hospitalised for shock.
Two days later, further up the coast, another surfer lost. Horrific. Then a sudden heatwave in Sydney brings all the snakes out of hibernation & the European Olympic Mountain Bikers, who aren’t use to poisonous ones, have fits as they start seeing all these (highly venomous) snakes in the Aussie bush during their events. We can’t take a trick Down Under at the moment. But the Closing Ceremony tonight should be a beauty.
By the way where can I find info on how UBB code works?

INTC will still be the most significant player in it's market. As for it's processors, AMD's Athlon/Duron and the new low power processors developed by the other folks (especially for notebook PCs) can replace Intel's more costly CPUs any time.

To be honest we all expected the AMD drive to push Intels prices lower, so I think so far it can be safely said that although Intel may be feeling the pinch it looks as though there dominance may be diminished but holding strong.
It doesnt help that non-PC types are still a little reluctant to trust anything but Intel ... ie Managing Directors.
Intel is looking right now quite a bit like IBM did about 15 years ago in the PC market. Whether they continue to dominate or not depends a lot on how many times they shoot themselves in the foot over the next two years. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif
