I have gone through fdisk successfully to the point of formatting "c"
I enter from a: "format c:/s" and it comes back with no such file etc. I am using a Win 98 boot disk. On another system of mine using win 95 I had no problems. I'm running this on a p3 8oo system. Any advise would be appreciated.

After completing fdisk, reboot. I just use the format c: command. Works fine.

ok Steve...Thought that u have to use the /s to be able to boot from C.
Will give it a try and I assume before I do that I reboot with the boot disk still in.

boot up with your win98 boot floppy then select with cd-rom support, when thats finished loading you should be at an "A" prompt, from there type in format C: or you could put the win98 cd in the rom go in to BIOS select the cd-rom as first boot device then F10 to save then follow the on screen directions. hope it helps.

You also have to have a space in the command: A:>format C: /s
Look here for more info:
Boomers do okay, and I don't think Jiggy is all that young anyway....
