AOE 2 - The Age of Kings

Guys n Girls,

Im having a few problems with this game. Can anyone help/advise?

Im running win XP (Home Ed) on a fairly high spec PC. I have both AOE2 games installed on the administrator screen and running perfectly. However my son has his own log on screen and the games do not run properly from his screen. They start up fine but when you actually go into a campaign it blanks the screen and goes back to the desktop without any error message??
I have tried setting his log on screen up with administrator rights but still no joy. It must be something weird with XP maybe?

I wish I could help. I've played AOE2 to death it seems but not on the kind of configuration your using. Hopefully someone more well versed will respond.

aftertought...maybe a AOE2 patch for XP? Have you looked for one yet?
