Dvd software

After fooling around with some dvd movies on my box I found I have a number of players. The interesting thing is that they all won't play the same movie. My question is which to you think is the best and why won't they all play the same movie.
My dvd
Interactual dvd
wmp 9
real player

As near as I can tell they are all up to date. My dvd seems to play the most variety and is the one that came with HP.

lets see i have win dvd 4/power dvd vcr II/Interactual/wmp 9 real player/out of all of them i like win dvd 4 the most.as to why you can not play the same movies it could be copy protection in wmp9 which i get a lot the same in wmp8 and real player. i do not know for sure because i do not let them go on line.maybe thats why i get the same.as for interactual i have it but not installed it came with some dvds.

I think your right though now it seems I have gotten to all play on wmp9. Very cool on lcd monitor, no ghosting at all and clearer than TV. Still I like them better on Tv. Just curious.

wish i could afford a lcd my friend has a 18 or 19 inch one. but $800 is out for now. yes 32 inch sony is better

I have a Samsung 191t [got it for the holidays] and it is awsome. No ghosting at all. But it is not the same as big tv. Anyway windvd seems to be the best.
