Hi everyone,
Just out of interest, does anyone else think this is going to be an incredibly useful piece of software?
MS OneNote (http://www.microsoft.com/office/onenote/overview.asp)
IF I don't have to sell too many of my limbs to be able to afford this MS product then I'm def. getting it. Might mean I need a tablet PC as well, but I've been looking for a good excuse
;)

If it is "incredibly useful" it'll be a first for Microsoft :) I find most MS software to be incredibly unintuitive, incredibly bloated, incredibly convoluted and incredibly proprietary. But hey, that's just my opinion :)

Sleddog,
Your post was good, made me laugh... obviously you need to take "incredibly useful" into the context of MS software.
I am hoping it has been developed by some other company and MS have just bought it all up :( - Otherwise you will probably be correct and it'll be on 14 CDs. Patched 3 times within a week and unsupported after a year.
Still, MS will probably make future Office documents uncompatible with older versions unless they have the OneNote plugin. Just to make sure we all buy it
:)
One thing that I am unclear about, will you have to buy a separate license for each and every machine you own, or will it be, lets say a 5 machine limit with the basic license?
If you have to pay for each machine, then even at $20/machine its usefulness quickly diminishes.......

MJC,
Come on... this is MS. I think it'll be 10 licences per machine :)
Still, I have read a few previews of this product and they are all positive... saying that OneNote is the product that Office should be the plugin for OneNote.
