Help! EZCD 5 install & Win 2K

Hi, all. Is there something special about installing EZCD Creator on Windows 2000? I have followed the instructions at the Roxio website and it still locked my system up to the point where I had to re-load 2000. (Good thing it was a clean install.) I was logged on as administrator, had nothing else running that I am aware of. I did the search for the cvd4?.sys file (can't remember full name of file). Should I have the drive properties set a certain way?
This Win 2000 stuff is very new to me and frustrating at this point.

Roxio has acknowledged there are some compatibility problems between
Take Two and W2K in a warning on its website. However, since Take Two
is installed automatically if you don't choose "Custom Install,"

So try a custum install and do not install take two
