Hello. This error is really getting on my nerves. It's happened quite a bit when I try to install something. The error is: "1608: Unable to create InstallDriver instance, Return code: -2147319784"
I've went to http://www.strydent.com/support/inksaver-support-faq.html#9 and tried what the suggested (even though it's not their software I'm trying to install, I thought it might work). I read somewhere to go to Dcomcnfg.exe and go to the "Default Security tab", but I can't find the Default Security tab anywhere. When I go to http://www.strydent.com/support/inksaver-support-faq.html#9 it says that "Client for Microsoft Networks" shouldn't appear on the list when I go to Network Connection Properties. Well it does on mine. They said if it shows up, that it's a different problem. So I removed Client for Microsoft Networks and the added it again. Still nothing. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks. BTW this is Windows XP and I'm trying to install Bird Hunter 2003 and Deadly Dozen: PT
