linux partitions

mandrake 9.0

when i installed linux mandrake 9.0, i used auto allocation to create the partitions. the only partitions it created were: /(root), swap, and /home. do i need to add any other partitions for linux to work properly or will the 3 above be good enough. i have 2 users of my linux OS- root & another user.

This is ok /(root), swap, and /home, the /home partition is your User partition and the /root is the admin.
Thats how i use Mandrake9 when im playing.
