Black and Grey lines on my monitor!

Please help, All of a sudden I have black and grey lines running across my monitor!!It's not the monitor because I have tried other monitors with it is still the same!Any ideas?

try the monitor on another computer. If everything is fine, then your videocard might be the culprit. After testing the monitor, test the videocard by either installing it into another PC, or getting another videocard and trying that one.

could be a bad filter capacitor on one of the video/CRT board power
supply lines (inside the monitor), or the CRT is getting weak. If it
happened all at once, I doubt it's the CRT.

You could try disconnecting it and taking the wire's and reseat them hook it back up and see if it is still there??



edit then it would be the Video card
