I can't geet into Windows 2000

I turn on my PC and when it should start windows 2000 it stop and do nothing...! any suggestions.

Would you kindly offer additional information regarding your system on your next post? It helps us visualize the situation.

So, have you moved the pc lately? entered the case? added any new software or hardware? made system changes?

How far along in the boot process do you get? Does it POST successfully? Does it hang at the Windows splash screen? Any error messages? How many beeps?

Try the simple stuff first:

Make sure keyboard (and all other peripherals) are properly seated/attached.
If you had moved or gone into the case...make sure things there are seated as well.
Run antivirus software from a boot disk.
Can you boot into safe mode (hold down the Ctrl key during bootup)?
Can you enter the BIOS to check that your HD is being detected correctly?
