xp uninstall

i installed winxp home onto my pc, i now want to unistall and put win98 onto my pc, i want to format the drive, rid of all crap on it, a clean 98 install, do not know how to uninstall winxp, used to win 98 and it's restart in ms dos, then format c: please advise and please detailed but simple, i just want to get my pc up and running and i do not like xp.

The quickest way is to start up with a win98 boot disk in the floppy, start with cd-rom support, then at the A promtp type format C: once thats done put your win98 disk in the cd-rom and reboot and the install begins.
