What length have you got with a WLAN connection?
I have a WLAN link located 1.5 km from my home.

Im thinking it's around 200 feet max but am not positive?

A lot depends on the type of hardware used to broadcast the signal .

manufacturers promise "kilometers" with directional antennas.
Problem is the "other end" is (propably) a omnidirectional antenna.
A free (not as in gnu_free) internet access awaits at the other end :)
