Ad-Aware 6

Good morning Everyone and a Happy New Year!

I have a little problem with Ad-Adware 6 which I recently downloaded and ran. The run showed some 88 suspicious items which I quarenteened and deleted. Since then I can't access links in my Email messages in both Outlook Express and Hotmail. I run Windows 98 second edition, my browser is Internet Explorer. ( I was surprised to be able to access all the links from PC guide a few minutes ago, informing me of my password, etc.)

well you can't just delete anything and everything that these types of programs pop up as being suspicious the program cannot tell the difference between somethings..

my only suggestion would be to recheck your settings for your proticalls.. if that isn't it then i would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling Outlook Express and Hotmail?

The first thing to try with these types of programs is to restore the backups they make.

Second, and this is going to be a little more involved, please post the log of what you did. The AAW log, should be able to view it and then copy and paste.
