I get this Windows error message:
"Can't start Kernel Mode Driver Service" when starting the Asus Digital VCR program on a V7100DC card with a Epox 8RDA MB.

I have loaded the WDM capture drivers as Asus states. I tried it both ways loading the program first and loading the capture drivers first.

I have seen messages as this before when a Windows service was disabled, but I can't find that name under Administrative Tools/Services.

Any Ideas? I'm running 2k w/sp3.

VB
I know nothing about Win2k, but until someone else comes along here goes.

With ATI you MUST load the WDM drivers FIRST.

Also you must completely uninstall ALL previously installed graphics drivers before doing upgrade. Best way to do this is in safe mode
(is SM in 2k?) Set too basic graphics and then uninstall. (With ATI), DO-NOT restart just yet. Install new drivers and then re-boot computer.
As I said I know nothing about 2k but hopefully this might help.

What O/S are you using?

I installed it both ways WDM first and last. Makes no difference.
