I an installing [or trying too install] Man8.0 on a full install to a previously formatted HD pent 133 Mother board Aopen57 fat 16 2.0G hd
vga monitor, I only want to put a very min. install to this machine.
I will not install all the toys that come with this version of Linux.
Due to the fact that the machine and its conponents are very limited.
So it is just a bit of an introductory to a Linux OS system.
OK with that in mind I am at the E: prompt DOS and it reads, Vol in dr E: is Cooker_CD-1>> this disk is the Installation disk, and there is one other disk that comes with man8.0.
How do I boot this disk on to my HD?

If you are unable to boot from the CD then you need to make a Linux setup boot disk. Instructions and required files will be on the CD. Look for a 'readme' or 'setup' text file in the root directory of the CD.
