Im running a Asus A7A266 mobo with a AMD 1.2 CPU, just got a MSI G4 Ti4600 Championship Edition vid card.
For some reason today, i was trying to play Unreal Tournie 2003 and the monitor went black, dont know what happened, it never came back on, the light on the monitor went orange from green, like it wasnt getting a signal. I rebooted the computer, it came back on... i tried a little while later hoping it wouldnt happen again, about 15 seconds into playing the game again, it went black again.
I rebooted one more time, but this time, the monitor never came on and my Hard Drive seemed to be stuck in some loop that couldnt boot up for some reason and its a new hard drive also, its a 200gb Western Digital drive.
I dont know if this is from overheating or what... im on my laptop right now, im gonna let it sit for a while and seeing if cooling it down will help like i read on here, but i wonder if my computer crashed altogether. Dont know if there is anything i can do or you recommend... just really pissed cause i thought everything was going good until this happened.
