View Full Version : can't get this game to run- help?

We're in the beginning of a blizzard and my kids are home for the day. I'd like to get this game running for them. It's called (Mountain dew) Extreme Boards & Blades by Headgames. It installed fine, but when I start it up I get an Illegal Operation stating this: "XBOARDS caused an invalid page fault in
module XBOARDS.EXE at 0187:0040131d" My system exceeds the minimum requirements to run the game. Does anyone have any ideas of how to get this one up and running? Any help or advice would be highly appreciated.

when u purchase the game there is a requirement statement. Does your system meet the requirement ? Is will also state that the game can be run at wad OS. Is your OS list there ?

My system meets all of the minimum requirements and beyond. The only one in question might be the video card, but I'd have to check on that. The game is suppose to run even with lesser cards than required, so I wouldn't think this is an issue.

hows your video card? you may want to check it out. you may also try to update your directx. some games require updtaed dx.

Try to use the latest driver for your video card.
