Sorry for the long post, but I wont to be as descriptive to see if this will work.
Main Computer is in office downstairs
Family room is directly over basement office
Family Room is where my home theater system is located.
ok. heres my ideal
My computer video card has a tv out s video plug
computer also has over 3,000 mp3's (95% copied from my own cd's)
I have a U.S. Robotics SoundLink Wireless Audio Delivery System

that I use to play my music from the computer to any radio in the house
(very sweet product)
What I would like to accomplish is sending the comp video signal via the s video cable from comp to big screen upstairs to be able to select the songs played from comp to sterio system.
My question is what can I use for the selection device ( mouse )
will a cordless mouse have the range ( approx 18'-20' )
or would it be best to run a hard wired mouse. Im sure I can get longer ps2 cables and running the wiring wont be that big of a problem.
Thank you all for your input.
