My monitor went green for about a day and then went out comepletely. So I put another monitor on there and still nothing. I'm guessing my next step is to replace the video card. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the asylum!
Sounds like the right approach. Do you get a POST? If the vid card is up the creek, it will normally give you a beep error code (this varies, but can be 3 beeps on some BIOS)
If you replace your vid card, replace it with a cheapy one first - it may seem like an extra expense, but having a cheap vid card can be very handy. If the MOBO has a problem with the video connector (AGP or PCI) then first of all, if it wants to fry the card, it isn't going to take out a fancy expensive one; secondly, if the MOBO is the problem, you then have the opportunity to upgrade both the MOBO and Vid card together and make a better choice. In the UK, a GF2 card can be picked up for around £25-35

Welcome Mr. Iron,
Why'd they put you in here? Me, it's 'cause they said I won't stop bangin' my head on the wall. But I know it's 'cause they're just jealous 'cause the voices only speak to me  Loony bin run by loonies sheesh! I said I wanted eggs, where's my eggs? :(

A little more details of what does and does not happen please. Also more details on your system. Did you add anything recently? Software or hardware? Anything 'strange' happen on the internet?
You could try reseating all connections of your video card and monitor. And I have some cheapy vid cards too just for times like you are having.

They still haven't brought me my eggs. I said I wanted eggs, where's my eggs! ;)
FTT, those were green eggs, right?
IronYuppie...
Swapping is about the only thing to do right now.
You said you have swapped the monitor and no change...
Have you tried the "dead" monitor on another machine?

I apologise for being 'off the wall'. I noticed not many responses to your post this afternoon (yesterday by now) and I will try my best to help but I always also try to keep it somewhat humorous and fun.
Yes. Green eggs and ham, Sam I am.
If you still see this, please let us know the particulars of your system. As far as I know, this site does not give anything to 'SPAM I AM' so you can post your system so we can know what to 'try' next.
I am a pawn and a clown, not necessarily in that order but others will help where I lose track...
