Having just successfully installed CH Flight Sim Yoke USB and Pro Pedals USB for MS Flight Simulator 2002 I am now at a total loss as to how to configure the buttons for the various functions and above all how to save the settings.
MS has instructions for keyboard and joystick - none of which apply to the Yoke or Pedals.
I have been to CH's KB which is more than useless.
Any advice would be gratefully received.

You should only post a subject once it causes confusion when you post the same thing in two differant places.

Just consulted my beloved on this. Okay, assuming Device Manager shows no problems with yoke, and that you have already looked in Control Panel for "yoke" settings and checked that it works there..then he says, with the joystick, one just goes into the game for the first time and "sets" joystick to work. I understand that you can't find yoke settings instructions. Is there anything on the game CD in the Help files for setting up a yoke rather than joystick? Same for CH CD..they've gotten where they don't give you any real help in a printed manual..95% of useful info is on the CD itself. And pardon me for suggesting this, but can you contact CH for tech support?

Found something that may help.

www.avsim.com/pages/1100/ch_usb/ch_usb_yoke_rudder.html (http://www.avsim.com/pages/1100/ch_usb/ch_usb_yoke_rudder.html)

Note that he has some links (at CH) on configuring about three paragraphs down, and mentions about changing a MS file.

Edit: Also found this CH database (http://www.chproducts.com/cgi-bin/fom?cmd=search&file=4&_search=Flight+Sim+2002&_minMatches=)..click on links and it gives instructions.
